It has been a while! 😲 WoW has been pretty boring in the past couple of expansions, so I haven't had much interest in it, thus the lack of posting. But it's time to talk more. Overall in my gold making journey in wow, I have made most of my gold from transmogs, and crafted transmogs have been a big part of it. Farming transmogs can however be a bit tiresome and has already been discussed many times, so in the next few posts I'll be discussing transmogs that you can craft yourself! These sell usually even faster than rare transmogs that you can get as a lucky drop, and their value is also very high typically. So definitely worth it, even if you have to make a new alt with the missing professions! This method is for Blacksmiths, Leatherworkers and Tailors.

Solo farming Mythic WOD Raids for Transmogs

Most raids tend to have Bind on Equip loot dropping, and some of these pieces look very good! That means people will pay nicely for them. They aren't bad either for leveling purposes. WOD raids are an excellent choice, as each piece usually always sells for several thousand gold, many even closer to ten thousand instead. Let's take a closer look a those drop rates!

You may or may not be aware that there are lots of items in the game that seem worthless when you see one drop, and most likely sell them to a vendor or disenchant them. Here's one of the low level sets that are relatively easy to find, at least from the auction house and has been selling nicely since transmogrification was implemented, the Venomshroud Regalia.

I got a nice tip from a reader about the plans for a unique looking weapon. The plans can be sold, or if you want to make even more gold, learned - as long as you have blacksmithing! It takes a lot of materials to craft, but each Frostguard you craft may give you thousands of gold in return!

Farming Blade of Wizardry - WoW Gold Guide

Here's another valuable item that not everyone recognizes, the Blade of Wizardry. What makes this weapon valuable is it's looks, and looks alone. It's a epic level 70 world drop from TBC zones and people are ready to pay ridiculous amounts of gold for it!

Farming Teebu's Blazing Longsword - WoW Gold Guide

With the new Transmogrification feature, some old equipment have increased dramatically in value. Perhaps the most famous and expensive example is the Teebu's Blazing Longsword. If you can get your hands on one, you're bound to make lots of wow gold!
