The other is a bit different this time, a non-guaranteed drop! That does not make it any less valuable though. On the contrary! This wow gold making tip is quite unique, as I've seen only one or two other players doing this recently. However, even if there were 20 other people doing this same thing on your realm, you'd still benefit from it, as you can do this only once per week. It will also not take more than 10 minutes of your time, and you can make even 30k gold off those minutes sometimes. However, you need to be level 90 and have decent gear.

We all love rare mounts in World of Warcraft that you do not see that often. There's still quite a few mounts that you can easily solo farm these days. Let's talk about the next mount in the list, the Reins of the Azure Drake, dropped by no other than Malygos in both 10 and 25 player difficulty of The Eye of Eternity. If you are lucky, you can also get an another mount from him, the Reins of the Blue Drake. Not as cool, but has a higher drop chance.

Solo farming Reins of the Onyxian Drake

Last World of Warcraft mount farming tip focused on solo farming Ashes of Al'ar. Let's visit an another instance that awards yet another incredible mount, the Reins of the Onyxian Drake. This one, too, is very easily soloable by any class at level 90. Although mounts that drop from raid bosses always have a very low drop rate, so unless you are extremely lucky, you have to visit this place multiple times.

I've received lots of questions regarding Tempest Keep, the Eye in World of Warcraft. I believe it's time to make a new post about solo farming it since MOP was launched. Now that you can be level 90, it's even more easier to solo farm Ashes of Al'ar with any class. Some are still failing though, so how does one solo Kael'thas now? What about the nerfed gold drops, is The Eye still a gold mine?

It has been quite a while since I published a mount farming tip, as the main focus in these is not gold farming. Although in this case too, on top of the Reins of the Drake of the North Wind, you will receive loads of valuable trade goods, BOE blue trinkets and pure gold drops from all monsters that are in your path.

Even if you're having horrible luck with mount drops, you still have a good excuse to solo farm here, in The Vortex Pinnacle.

This mount has seen it's prime time, but even if you've still not seen it drop, it's profitable to farm nonetheless. It's a quite high 5% drop from Kael'thas Sunstrider in Magister's Terrace (Hc) and can be soloed by all high level classes - even eyes closed. Try it!

Free Mounts | Blue Proto-Drake - WoW Gold Guide

There's a lot of cool looking mounts in the game that are rare but still quite easily obtained, even when in solo mode. Blue Proto-Drake is also still useful because unlike the mammoth, this one can fly.

It's also a bit more rare as I have seen no more than a few people flying this in the past weeks. This time you will be getting a lot of gold while farming this aswell (assuming you will clear the whole instance), especially if frostweave is valuable on your realm!

Grand Black War Mammoth Solo Farming - WoW Gold Guide

Like always, when an expansion is released, previous raids become at least partially soloable at some point. This means most of WOTLK raids are now soloable. Personally I do my soloing mostly as a hunter, death knight or paladin and so far have been able to solo Sartharion, Malygos, Archavon, Koralon, Onyxia and some bosses in Naxxramas, Ulduar and ICC. These are not only fun to solo, but they can also be very profitable. A boss often drops 180-300g and epics that can be disenchanted and then shattered into essences.

Some bosses have unique loot though, such as mounts. While mounts are not directly related to gold making, I will still create a list of rare mounts (that are soloable). These are found in the Free Epic Mount category for now. After all, who does not like those shiny mounts that are not seen every day!

I will start the list with the Archavon mount.
