Free Mounts | Swift White Hawkstrider - WoW Gold Guide

This mount has seen it's prime time, but even if you've still not seen it drop, it's profitable to farm nonetheless. It's a quite high 5% drop from Kael'thas Sunstrider in Magister's Terrace (Hc) and can be soloed by all high level classes - even eyes closed. Try it!

The chocobo cannot fly
Although there's already a lot of methods that are extremely good for farming Netherweave cloth, I guess it never hurts to include them all, as long as they offer something else too, such as epic mounts!

A run generally takes no more than 10 minutes, depending on your style. Some like to run through the instance and pull 4 rooms at a time, while some like to take their time.

The main items you should expect from this instance are

• Epics. BOP sadly. :c Some have high vendor price though.
• Netherweave cloth
• Gold coins
• Greenies

The last boss, Kael'thas also drops the following

• Phoenix Hatchling
• Swift White Hawkstrider
• Orb of the Sin'dorei
• Various profession recipes. Some of these are valuable!

And the usual from your average TBC dungeon. Nothing special this time. Still, if you put the loot to use by professions, there's a little bit of gold to be made.

Protip: To avoid Kael's talk about how everything was just a setback, engage the boss before you kill the last of the trashgroup in front of the boss.
