Time for some herbalism gold making tips! Most people would choose a zone from the current expansion to make fast sales, and some herbs are even worth it. However, not being able to fly slows things down dramatically. Why not instead choose a zone where flying is allowed?

There's 2 new wow gold tips today! First tip is Stranglekelp farming for mainly Death Knights and Druid herbalists, or anyone who has a ton of waterwalking potions. The second tip is too good to be posted here so it's in the elite section on the forum. It has made me over 15k gold after 60 minutes of farming. But with Stranglekelps selling for silly amounts currently here, it's not bad either!

Level 60 elites have the highest chance of dropping Exalted, Glorious and Vanguard sets.

With each new expansion, some items become a lot more valuable than what they are today. That said I will be dedicating posts for each profession that has access to items that new monks and pandas will find useful. MOP is not here yet, but you can start stockpiling useful stuff and sell some even today in certain cases, like Goldthorn which is always valuable.

Farming Heartblossom - WoW Herbalism Gold Guide

While Cataclysm herbs are less valuable than older herbs, there's still lots of gold to be made in the new zones as well. For example, Heartblossom has always been surprisingly pricey and there isn't a whole lot of it for sale usually. Pay a visit to your local auction house and see if there's gold to be made, if you have herbalism. However, a sneaky goblin can make some gold selling these even without the profession!

Here's another item from The Burning Crusade. Remember that all herbs from Outland are valuable, so when circling around picking flowers, don't stick to just this herb! There's gold to be made even if you run into Felweed instead, which is the lowest level Outland herb.

Sure, common herbs sell a lot faster, but overall there's more gold to be made if you focus on multiple herbs and not only Cataclysm herbs! TBC herbs are excellent examples.

Almost everyone who wants to make gold with herbalism chooses to farm Cataclysm herbs. A handful of players farms other herbs instead and makes even 500% more gold. One of these more expensive TBC herbs is Terocone.

Herbalism Guide | Best places to farm Stranglekelp

Stranglekelp has always been one of the more expensive herbs due to the "hard" access to them. They spawn underwater almost always, so that means lots of swimming! However, if you are a veteran herbalist, you have a druid already. Aquatic form makes underwater farming a lot more easier. Even the other flowers can be picked up a lot faster if you don't have to "dismount" every few seconds!

Goldthorn is one of the rarest and most expensive herbs currently. For a long time their invidual price has been about 8-10g on my realm. I've sold hundreds of stacks since wotlk for about 200g each. Though I usually sell them in smaller stacks to make them sell faster, as some people require only a few of them and not 20.

There's some easy gold to be made in some of the Outland zones, especially for Engineers. Previous trick focused on Zangarmarsh, but this time I'll tell you how to make gold in Nagrand instead. Again,  mainly from it's Gas clouds. This zone also has treasure chests, so if you want to, you can make your own route by using the Routes addon with Gathermate2 and add chests to it aswell.

4.0.6 patch, crazy gold with herbing and mining!

Apparently herb and mining node spawn times in certain areas have been buffed greatly. On purpose? Doubt it. Better make use of it fast, not just because it might be changed back soon, but before other people notice this too and the prices start to drop! Could also be a potential gold boost in case it's an accidental change. Buy cheap herbs. Store them. Resell when things are back normal!
